Its about you and me, my thoughts written down and you thinking upon them... In poetry, in verse, in prose, in lines, in words... the words live by your thoughts...

Catalyst
to me,praying
in continence of love
the arsenal of god
indiscreet are your words
that killed me
the antithesis now
doesn't affect anymore
giddy here i lay
with the malediction of
imagination, reality strikes
strikes harsh on me, soothes
dubious of life
so inviolate to love
lies broken, broken
into pieces undefined
the thoughts were macabre
of the gruesome time wasted
mesmerized, with the broken tears
besmeared all over the face to face
all rerproaches betoken
to me, negation of
them, denied to me always
the recuperation so invisible
zephyrs blew over my thoughts
with time slipped by
compesated by your absence
turned into elegance
augment my perspectives now
broken those walls created
pending physiques of decisions
now dead, for they are taken right
agitated against the illicit
which i was drowning in
a pyrotechnics of draconian monologue
stops now, before i hear them...
evasive replies, bother
me no more, for the change
increments, promotes placate
to life that acts as a catalyst...

The New Light
i wash
the past
of pain
the pain
i had, in myself
filled with ignorance
i turn towards the Light
the Light
Divine
shows the way
to live and breathe
breathing again
i rose from the grave
the reality
i see with my eyes now
woken up to Life
ahead my Life
the living of the dead
will be dead
coming out of the refuge
of the lies, so blinding
to the Truth
i metamorphose myself into
into the dreams
long cherished
abandoned by this ...
i dream again, dream more
the Life i live
will be of myself
the my self in its
true aura
the aura radiating
the light of
happiness that i received
the strength i gain from lies, over lies
over this road
will i tread upon
laughing along the way
laughing at the humor of the dead
the tears dried
into tears of new Light
that washed into power
of living the new, change...
Change,
life's truth
is the blessing
that I'll never forget...
along my way now
stronger than yesterday
more happy, in bliss
in myself, established.
established trust
faith and hope true
truth comes into me, eternal
I see the New Light.

Work
our work
our deeds
our love
is what
we are
looked upto
in life
the good
done for
others is
that matters
you never
know when
you'd get
helping hand
it's when
you give
is when
you get
your measure
is the
work done
by you
when your
day's done
your deeds
live you

What happens next???
what is to happen? To us
to air
to water
will there be fire ?
or there be a pyre ?
for us
the deeds done
the actions committed...

TELLING ME
The earth revolves in ellipses.
The hands of the clock move in circles.
Hills and villages are traversed by gypsies.
The water in a waterfall gurgles.
No one tells anyone to do anything-
Why should anyone tell me?
Even gods give choices to everything
Asking us to choose and accept with glee!
When I ask you, you do not tell.
When you ask, I tell you.
You tell me to distinguish between heaven and hell-
While you tell yourself that there is nothing such, because of no clue!
You tell me to do this thing in that manner
While you do that thing in this way!
Why, then, do you raise truth’s banner?
When lies are the only thing you tell, and say!
Don’t tell me,
If you don’t practice what you preach.
Don’t tell me to ask you! See!
When you ignore and screech!
- Abhishek Syal
This poem is written with the mindset of a teenager, or a college student. It is in this age that he dwells a lot on the duality that the common world gives his eyes to see and his ears to hear! It envisions the growth self-realization and individualism, to which he is attracted fatally to. He is the member of Gen-Y, the latest generation, and therefore, he believes in absolute, and cannot believe in anything which has no existence or proof or is devoid of logic behind its existence. There is also a surge of rightful attitude, which asserts one true self, in the direction towards an Identity. However, he believes in no God, and no spirituality, the ideals of which are replaced by the Self.
Notice the starting letter of Gods in the poem. Any difference? Now, Can you guess why???

REVIEW ON ‘IF’
One of Rudyard’s most famous poems, it stands out with the message in every line, every word. It tells us that we control our own lives, with the choices we make. It speaks of the ideal being, the MAN.
In a letter ‘If’, he paints a portrait of the traits of the ideal person, and how that ideal person views his life, how he faces Life and how he makes his choices.
He exemplifies how time is important, and to employ it duly. It subtly unveils the Highest Truth of Life, giving us with Noble qualities to imbibe. Life is there, but it runs out with Time. The marble covers us at Death, but our Deeds form an armor to being a slave to Oblivion, rendering us Immortal and adorning our souls with the crown of Victory over Life’s tryst with our inevitable mortal destiny.
The poem has an element of Gandhian Philosophy in it. He also voices the Gita, to treat Triumph and Disaster alike, which are two faces of the same Coin of Life. We are the coins, and how we take it— is a measure of our inner happiness in our heart, and, what qualities we enact through our actions, they form the value of that picture on the coin in the hearts of other men.
The Ideal Man is the one who is not perfect, neither does everything perfect, but does everything dutifully. He is the one who has the courage to take a step ahead in the Right Direction. He is the one who is revered by all in their hearts, and looked up to, for serving the mankind and being a man, in true spirits. Kipling, in his legendary poem, has unfurled this portrait remarkably in front of us, through his immortal lines.

Forever, You, The Great One !
Your heart is then, pure
Your blood in your veins is fragrant
Your feelings are those of God
Fragrant of Divinity
Radiant of Light
Purity of Truth
You, The Great One !
