Walking Down The Pavement..

Walking down the pavement,
she opened the door, entered barista
wearing stilettos, at 3 am
two people saw her...

the floral dress, white and black,
she hanged around a little,
looked as if just had an ecstasy
and was going the aftermath..

she looked divine to me..
but to other, she was attractive --
only that much for a number
and fifty and thousand rupees..

he walked over to her
asked her for hot cuppa' coffee
she smiled a little,
said her credit card was outta order

so, he said, dun worry
i have the cash
let's go, wherever you want to,
for he was the minister's son..

Ah! there i wished i had
but a talk and a walk with her
to get to know her...
but she never glanced at me..

she already had said yes
to go 'uck n forget, yea, and earn
to be the one heck of a slu'
but, was she?

looking into her eyes, and the
smoothness of her hands
she was never meant to be--
her family couldn't support her education..

ministers say..
they spend one-fifth on education..
do they? i guess so...
here was how.

she was ambitious, nay, very
bold and beautiful, coming from
where there are no ideals,
just as the person she said yes to..

highest or lowest, it's all the same
i guess, they are without any shame
free, hopeful, and unburdened
totally unaware of what they do!

i had no reaction
but just to ponder over..
on things, as numbers on stock index
why the fall, why the rise, why the trend?

had she but was there at 3 pm
walking down the same pavement,
he would never had looked on her
and i would have asked her on a date..

Day One: Inner Happiness begins at home

Has kalyug really entered, or is it that we've made it?

That's the question that I think the answer would be us, even for a believer or an atheist.

The question that I've started asking myself everyday is:

'What I've really done rightfully selflessly, to give someone true happiness?'

The answer I did not get for a past few days. I was being so selfish as to ask others to waste their resources over my hurts and bruises, that I forgot theirs.

I feel that at the end of the day, when we lay down on our beds, before taking the rest to our tired souls, we should ask ourselves this.

However, jokes apart, I think this is more sort of a check by jury mechanism rather than a progressive one. I mean like, it's more of quality control, rather than being a developmental one.

So, today I have come up with,

'What can I do today rightfully, selflessly, to give someone happiness?'

I asked this today myself just the first thing after I got up, and the first answer i got was:

'Hug your mom and dad, and say, "I love you." '

And I did. And it really gave them happiness...

Happiness, I strongly feel is not made up in things. It is made in hearts. True souls, hearts selfless, are eternally happy, and more than that, they are in state of bliss. Besides that, it does also contributes a lot to inner strength and happiness.

I'm glad I've implemented the first answer, and I will continue doing it. That will surely spread happiness in my caring family.
